Ally and Mike asked me to come up to Liberty State Park in NJ for their engagement session. I had been there once before, years ago, and remember it being so amazing because it sits just across the river from lower manhattan. It really feels like you could throw a stone and hit no less than 100 pigeons on a NYC rooftop. We wandered the park, avoiding a few swarms of ferry passengers, and managed to get some amazing photos. Big thanks to my friend and fellow photographer Rob for helping me out! And the story behind this one. This is shot number 2 out of 2. The first shot was a “everybody look serious and gangsta” shot. The second was supposed to be a “everybody look awesomely happy” shot… but apparently only half of us got that
